Softball Recap: Mead Wins Going Away Against Gonzaga Prep

Mead won the last time they faced Gonzaga Prep and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Bullpups. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 11 runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Mead and bumps their season record up to 6-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Gonzaga Prep, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the loss, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Mead will host Ridgeline at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 13.6 runs per game this season. As for Gonzaga Prep, they will square off against Ferris at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bullpups are facing the Saxons at the right time seeing as the Saxons are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
