Superior suffered their biggest loss since December 23, 2023 on Monday. They took a serious blow against Fort Thomas, falling 81-39. Superior has not had much luck with Fort Thomas recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Mogollon proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 23) but on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Hayden 48-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Mogollon has posted yet this season.
Superior has not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for Mogollon, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.
