They came out on top against Skidmore-Tynan by a score of 56-48. For Natalia, this counts as revenge for the 45-27 loss Skidmore-Tynan walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Despite the loss, Skidmore-Tynan still got an impressive performance from Cole Rivers, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Bennett Martinez, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
Natalia has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Skidmore-Tynan, their loss dropped their record down to 12-1.
Natalia will be playing at home against South San Antonio West at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South San Antonio West is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games. Skidmore-Tynan is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Sinton at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th. Sinton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1392nd, while Skidmore-Tynan is ranked 342nd).
