The Tri-County North Panthers were the 54-17 winner over the Northridge Polar Bears when they last played one another back in January of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Tri-County North suffered a rough 64-38 defeat at the hands of Northridge on Friday.
Tri-County North's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nicole Lefeld, who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Bella Cherry, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Tri-County North's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Northridge, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Tri-County North will head out on the road to face off against Stivers School for the Arts at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Miami East at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
