Burton Adventist Academy has struggled against the Patriots recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Victory Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kassie Northcutt, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Oates, who scored 20 points along with eight steals.
Burton Adventist Academy has not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Victory Christian Academy, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-3.
