Last Friday, Frisco lost to Wakeland at home by a decisive 42-24 margin. Frisco has struggled against Wakeland recently, as their match on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Richland can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 51-17 victory over Molina. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 51-3.
Michael Turner was his usual excellent self, rushing for 132 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. Turner is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last six games he's played. Kenyan Long also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Frisco's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Richland, they pushed their record up to 10-0 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
