The Holland Patent Golden Knights will be playing at home against the Proctor Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Holland Patent's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last ten matches.
Holland Patent pushed their score all the way to 66 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 75-66 to Camden. While losing is never fun, Holland Patent can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 234th, while Camden is ranked 67th).
Meanwhile, Proctor scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They managed a 86-82 win over Rome Free Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Holland Patent's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Proctor, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
Holland Patent might still be hurting after the 76-50 defeat they got from Proctor in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Will Holland Patent have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
