Cottage Hill Christian Academy suffered their biggest  defeat since April 26, 2024 on Monday. They came up short against  the St. Michael Catholic Cardinals, falling  24-15. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won  23-3.
  Kennedy Jones and  Makenzie Gartman did some serious damage despite the final result:  Jones  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, two  stolen bases,  and three  RBI, while  Gartman  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 3-for-4. That  home run marked the first that  Jones  launched this season.  Emma Robbins was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in two of her five plate appearances.
Cottage Hill Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for St. Michael Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 11-16.
 Coming up, Cottage Hill Christian Academy will head out on the road to  square off against  Mobile Christian  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. St. Michael Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
