On Friday Fuqua take on Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot at 7:00 PM. Fuqua is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
Last week, Fuqua couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were given a punishing 6-53 defeat at the hands of Fredericksburg Christian.
Meanwhile, everything went Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot's way against King & Queen Central as the team secured a 55-8 win. Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Fuqua's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll see if Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot's success rolls on or if Fuqua are able to steal their positive momentum.
