Lane Gorzinski Goes Supernova in North Central Victory
Lane Gorzinski's big game helped extend North Central's winning streak to seven on Friday. Gorzinski was dynamite, rushing for 235 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per carry, and also throwing for 71 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season.
If the past is any indication, Gorzinski could be in store for another big game when he takes on Forest Park on Friday. Gorzinski rushed for 95 yards and four touchdowns, and also picked up 32 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Trojans duked it out back in October of 2023.

Grayson Sundell produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Forest Park to the win on Friday. Sundell rushed for 199 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (101.6). The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

Dax Huuki produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Forest Park to the win on Friday. Huuki rushed for 126 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries.

Aspinwall Made His Presence Known in Gogebic [Johnston/Wakefield]'s 40-13 Loss
Wyatt Aspinwall continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 13th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least six total tackles. He picked up a sack and made 14 total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
Gogebic [Johnston/Wakefield]'s defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-4. Aspinwall will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Wright on Friday.
