The Riverton Wolverines won the last time they faced the Green River Wolves, and things went their way on Friday too. Riverton enjoyed a cozy 69-54 victory over Green River.
Parker Paxton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points. Darrick DeVries was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds.
The victory got Riverton back to even at 9-9. As for Green River, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Evanston the next time they take the court. Riverton will head out to face Evanston at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Green River will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
