On Friday Grandview Park Baptist will take on North Mahaska at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Things haven't been easy for Grandview Park Baptist, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They were dealt a punishing 8-46 defeat at the hands of Central Decatur. The state rankings had actually given Grandview Park Baptist a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 12-48, which was the final score in North Mahaska's tilt against Lynnville-Sully last Friday. This makes it the second loss in a row for North Mahaska.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
