Volleyball Recap: Holcomb Extends Road Winning Streak to Six

Holcomb had won five straight road games and Delilah Galliart did her part to make it six on Thursday. Everything went the Longhorns' way against the Ulysses Tigers as they made off with a 3-0 victory with plenty of help from Galliart, who had 31 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

One reason for the win was Holcomb's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-16, 25-12.

Holcomb's win bumped their record up to 27-4. As for Ulysses, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-18-1.

Holcomb has already played their next contest (against Colby), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Ulysses, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hugoton at 7:00 p.m. on the 20th.
