Franklin Road Christian is a perfect 3-0 against Pleasant View Christian since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Minutemen will head out to challenge the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Saturday, Franklin Road Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Zion Christian Academy, taking the game 7-3.

Meanwhile, Pleasant View Christian waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They didn't even let Heritage Christian Academy on the board, marking their second-straight 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won three matchups by 15 runs or more so far this season.

Mason Busler made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, earning two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Garyn Chance, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Jacob Busler was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Pleasant View Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .444 or higher in three consecutive games.

Pleasant View Christian's record now sits at 4-1. As for Franklin Road Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Franklin Road Christian took their victory against Pleasant View Christian in their previous matchup back in May of 2022 by a conclusive 14-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Minutemen since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
