The Kermit Yellow Jackets will head out on the road to challenge the Presidio Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Friday, Kermit was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 49-48 to the Bucks. It was the first time this season that Kermit let down their fans at home.
Meanwhile, Presidio was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 33-27 to the Buffaloes. Presidio has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kermit's defeat ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 16-14. As for Presidio, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
Everything went Kermit's way against the Blue Devils when the teams last played back in January as the Yellow Jackets made off with a 52-30 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kermit since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
