The Evart Wildcats will be playing at home against the Harrison Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Evart's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Harrison has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
Last Friday, Evart slipped by Houghton Lake 23-22.
Sean Jackson was the offensive standout of the contest as he gained 122 total yards and two touchdowns. Evart also got a significant boost from Tanner Graber, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 91 yards.
Meanwhile, Harrison took a serious blow against Bullock Creek on Friday, falling 44-14.
Evart is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Harrison has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
Evart strolled past Harrison in their previous matchup back in October of 2022 by a score of 41-26. Does Evart have another victory up their sleeve, or will Harrison turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
