On Saturday, West Michigan HomeSchool sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-54 victory over Noble-Whitley Warriors.
Noble-Whitley Warriors' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Titus Miller, who scored 15 points. Miller scored a full 27.8% of Noble-Whitley Warriors' points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caidyn Berna, who scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds.
The win got West Michigan HomeSchool back to even at 1-1. As for Noble-Whitley Warriors, they have yet to win a game at home this season, leaving them with a 8-7 record.
West Michigan HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Noble-Whitley Warriors will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kokomo HomeSchool at 2:00 p.m. on January 6, 2024.
