North Central is 0-10 against Buford since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The North Central Knights will look to defend their home court against the Buford Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 11 consecutive losses dating back to last season for North Central and four for Buford.
North Central suffered their biggest defeat since November 28, 2023 last Friday. They were dealt a 47-11 defeat at the hands of Lewisville. North Central was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-5.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 47-20, which was the final score in Buford's tilt against York Prep on Thursday.
North Central bumped their record down to 0-9 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Buford, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
North Central took a serious blow against Buford when the teams last played back in January of 2023, falling 61-16. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point North Central was down 38-4.
