The Parkville Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Randallstown Rams at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Parkville's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine matches.
Even though Towson scored an imposing 67 points on Wednesday, Parkville still came out on top. Parkville managed a 71-67 victory over Towson.
Parkville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chima Egeonu, who almost dropped a triple-double on 17 points, 18 rebounds, and nine blocks. Egeonu has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last four times he's played. Anthony Council was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Randallstown's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell to Archbishop Curley 62-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Parkville pushed their record up to 11-3 with that win, which was their 14th straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.9 points per game. As for Randallstown, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.
Parkville beat Randallstown 80-72 in their previous matchup back in February of 2022. Will Parkville repeat their success, or does Randallstown have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
