Volleyball Recap: Lumberton Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Lumberton waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins...and they left with three. They came out on top against the Orangefield Bobcats by a score of 2-0.

Lumberton has also now won 17 of their last 20 games at home. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 2-6 Orangefield and 1-3 Bridge City (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 24.2% over those games). As for Orangefield, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Lumberton has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Dayton on the 15th. As for Orangefield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Shepherd on the 15th.
