This season hasn't been kind to the Blum Bobcats, who are still winless after their seventh game. They took a 54-38 bruising from Bruceville-Eddy on Friday.
Bruceville-Eddy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lance Bailey, who scored six points along with ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Holmes, who scored ten points.
Blum's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Bruceville-Eddy, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8.
Blum will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Valor Preparatory Academy at 10:30 a.m. on December 9th. Valor Preparatory Academy is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Bruceville-Eddy, they will play host again and welcome Veritas Academy, where tip off is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
