On Friday, Highland are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Macon at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Highland, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Highland found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 12-40 punch to the gut against Clark County last Saturday.
Meanwhile, Macon took care of business in their home opener. They took their game against Kirksville last week 34-27.
Macon's win lifted them to 1-0 while Highland's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Macon can add another positive mark to their record or if Highland can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Macon's step.
