Mammoth was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight  defeat. They were dealt  a  72-42 loss at the hands of the Desert Scorpions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  71-32  back in January.
Mammoth's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Desert, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-7.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mammoth will venture away from home to  challenge Frazier Mountain  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Desert, they are taking a road trip to  take on Rosamond  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Desert has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
