Even though the Fromberg Falcons have not done well against the Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Fromberg walked away with a 40-31 win over Reed Point/Rapelje. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Fromberg also won the last time the pair played on January 5th.
Despite the defeat, Reed Point/Rapelje saw an underclassman step up: Landen Bryant scored ten points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bryant has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Axel Blodgett, who scored eight points along with 15 rebounds.
Fromberg now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Reed Point/Rapelje, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fromberg will take on Absarokee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Reed Point/Rapelje, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bridger at 7:30 p.m. Bridger is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
