The Denver City Mustangs will head out on the road to challenge the Dimmitt Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Denver City has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Friday, Denver City strolled past the Mules with points to spare, taking the game 56-37.
Meanwhile, Dimmitt came up short against the Mules on Tuesday and fell 58-48.
Denver City's victory bumped their record up to 16-13. As for Dimmitt, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season.
Denver City beat the Bobcats 45-37 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Denver City since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
