Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mooresville). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the A.L. Brown Wonders 65-13. The Blue Devils pushed the score to 52-11 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wonders had no chance of recovering from.

Mooresville had a senior duo take command as Lilly Rumrill posted 20 points and Cadence Lane put up 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lane has scored all season. Riley Parker was another key player, putting up nine points.

Despite the loss, A.L. Brown still got an impressive performance from London Gray, who earned six points.

Mooresville has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.6 points per game. As for A.L. Brown, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-12.

Mooresville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 90-29 loss against Lake Norman on the 22nd. As for A.L. Brown, they will welcome Hickory Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th.
