On Monday, the Washington International Red Devils were out to avenge their 35-30 loss to the Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles from their previous meeting last December, but they had no such luck. Washington took a hard 37-25 fall against Model Secondary School for the Deaf. That's the fewest points the Red Devils have scored all year.
Washington's defeat pushed them down to 1-5. The win makes it two in a row for Model Secondary School for the Deaf and bumps their record up to 18-7.
Washington will square off against Field on Friday. Model Secondary School for the Deaf is staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Burke. Burke took a loss in their last matchup and are no doubt out to reverse Model Secondary School for the Deaf's good fortune.
