Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Castle Knights walked away with it. They took down New Albany 35-17 on Friday. The win was familiar territory for Castle who now have four in a row.
Antonio Harris got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 192 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.0 yards per carry. Harris was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 53 yards. Castle also got a significant boost from Max Mccool, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 96 yards.
New Albany's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Dakota Johnson, who rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown.
Castle's victory was their third straight on the road , which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.3 points per game. As for New Albany, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Castle will be playing at home against Evansville North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. New Albany does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
