The Northview Chiefs were the 47-46 winner over the Elberta Warriors when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. Northview took a 46-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Elberta on Thursday. Northview has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Chiefs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Luke Diamond, who scored 12 points. The match was Diamond's fifth in a row with at least ten points. JIKEIR HUDSON was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Northview bumped their record down to 1-5 with that defeat, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Elberta, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9.
Northview has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome L.E.A.D. Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 18th. L.E.A.D. Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Elberta won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Orange Beach at 6:30 p.m. on December 15th.
