The Patapsco Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Dulaney, falling 52-15. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Patapsco has scored all season.
Kayla Gross was Patapsco's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Gross also led the team in assists with two.
Patapsco's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Dulaney, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Patapsco will take on Perry Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Perry Hall presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Patapsco in Maryland (Perry Hall is ranked 94th, while Patapsco is ranked 200th). As for Dulaney, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mount de Sales Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Mount de Sales Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
