The Shawnee Braves won the last time they faced the Northwestern Warriors, and things went their way on Friday too. Shawnee simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Northwestern 59-27 at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Shawnee.
Northwestern lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brayden Bechtel, who scored six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Shaffer, who scored six points.
Shawnee's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Northwestern, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shawnee will take on Tecumseh at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tecumseh comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Northwestern, they will be playing at home against Kenton Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
