They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Freedom Christian Academy Patriots. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Heat as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.
 Liberty Christian Academy's got stronger as the match went on, holding Freedom Christian Academy to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-22,  25-16.
 Hollyn Thigpen paced Liberty Christian Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Thigpen got some help from  Sam Hearn and her 20 assists.  Alleyna Morton controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.
Liberty Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Freedom Christian Academy,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 15-15.
 Coming up, Liberty Christian Academy will take on Village Christian Academy at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Freedom Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
