Anna Blumfeldt had an outrageously good game for Christian Community as she went 9 for 12 on her way to 20 points and five steals. Christian Community is 6-2 when Blumfeldt posts three or more steals, but 5-6 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Szunyog, who posted ten points.
Horizon Science Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Christian Community, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Horizon Science Academy and Westside Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 5:00 p.m. on February 18th.
