Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rivera). Everything went their way against the Donna Redskins on Friday as the Rivera Raiders made off with a 63-43 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Raiders considering their 25-point performance the matchup before.

Xandria Johnson was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 17 points and nine boards. She has been hot for a while, having posted nine or more rebounds the last 12 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Oyuki Trevino, who posted 15 points.

Rivera pushed their record up to 20-14 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 20.8 points. As for Donna, they moved to 16-12 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Rivera has already played their next contest, a 52-29 win against Porter on the 20th. As for Donna, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 37-32 loss against Pace on the 20th.
