McGregor scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 64-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Taylor Ducks. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

TJ Whybrew was his usual excellent self, going 11 of 17 en route to 27 points and three steals for Taylor. The game was Whybrew's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Laurence, who posted 13 points and five rebounds.

McGregor's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Taylor, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.

McGregor wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 61-45 defeat against Marlin on the 13th. As for Taylor, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-37 victory against Hillsboro on the 14th.
