The South Point Pointers will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Adena Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Adena took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on South Point, who comes in off a win.
Last Monday, South Point humbled Gallia Academy with a 51-19 victory. The win was just what South Point needed coming off of a 71-23 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, after a string of eight wins, Adena's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They received a tough blow as they fell 55-36 to Unioto. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Adena in their matchups with Unioto: they've now lost three in a row.
South Point's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2. As for Adena, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-1.
