The McNair Mustangs had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They didn't even let Callaway onto the board and left with a 18-0 win on Tuesday. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points McNair has scored all season.
McNair found their leader in underclassman Jaylen Williams , who scored 11 points.
McNair's victory bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Callaway, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McNair will be home for the holidays to greet Salem at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Salem presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than McNair in Georgia (Salem is ranked 231st, while McNair is ranked 558th). Callaway will be home for the holidays to greet Landmark Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Landmark Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matchups -- so hopefully Callaway likes a good challenge.
