Pine Lake Prep got themselves on the board against Langtree Charter Academy on Wednesday, but Langtree Charter Academy never followed suit. They blew past the Lions 15-0. The result was nothing new for the Pride, who have now won ten contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Kristen Armstrong made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Emery Jensen, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. She is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as she's now brought in three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Caitlin Green was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

Pine Lake Prep was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .867. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive games.

Pine Lake Prep is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Langtree Charter Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-13 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Pine Lake Prep wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 18-3 win against Bradford Prep on the 23rd. As for Langtree Charter Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 20-8 victory against Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy on the 17th.
