The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the  5-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in May of 2024.
 Olyvia Piranio spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and six unearned) runs on nine hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Maddy Hoenig made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went a perfect 4-for-4 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. She has been hot recently, having  posted three or more  hits the last three times she's  played.  Emma Bue was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases and three  RBI.
Turner's defeat dropped their record down to 18-3. As for Milton, they pushed their record up to 12-10 with the  win, which was their third straight  on the road.
As of now, neither Turner nor the Red Hawks have any future games scheduled.
