The Cardinal Ritter College Prep Lions waltzed into Thursday's contest with two straight wins but they left with three. They claimed a resounding 67-28 win over East St. Louis on the road. With Cardinal Ritter College Prep ahead 43-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Despite the loss, East St. Louis still got an impressive performance from Heaven Williams, who scored 8 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryale Mosley, who scored 6 points.
Cardinal Ritter College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for East St. Louis, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cardinal Ritter College Prep will take on St. Francis Borgia at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East St. Louis, they will be playing at home against Webster Groves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
