West Boca Raton extended their postseason success on Friday against Osceola. They enjoyed a cozy 26-7 victory over the Osceola Kowboys. Winning may never get old, but the Bulls sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Boca Raton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mark Hanniford, who picked up 140 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Hanniford got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 93 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Mallory, who threw for 152 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 passes.
Osceola's loss came despite strong showings from Taevion Swint and Camren West. Swint rushed for 116 yards and one touchdown, while West rushed for 77 yards on only nine carries. Those 77 rushing yards gave West a new career-high.
West Boca Raton's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Osceola, with the loss, they broke their nine-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-3.
