Hopewell-Loudon stacked a seventh blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Montpelier 46-14 at home. Given Hopewell-Loudon's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 171st, while Montpelier is ranked 529th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Pandora-Gilboa was able to grind out a solid win over Leipsic on Friday, taking the game 33-24.
Hopewell-Loudon's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Pandora-Gilboa, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Hopewell-Loudon came up short against Pandora-Gilboa in their previous matchup back in October of 2017, falling 16-7. Can Hopewell-Loudon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
