It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Concordia Prep Saints had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 28-7 margin over St. Mary's. Winning may never get old, but Concordia Prep sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Concordia Prep can attribute much of their success to Keshawn Mister, who rushed for 107 yards and three touchdowns. Sidney Stewart got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Concordia Prep has yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 10-1 record. As for St. Mary's, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
Concordia Prep will face off against John Carroll at 2:00 p.m. on November 19th. St. Mary's does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
