The Needham Rockets have more to be thankful for after their matchup against the Wellesley Raiders on Thursday. Needham enjoyed a cozy 21-7 victory over Wellesley. For Needham, this counts as revenge for the 24-17 loss Wellesley walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2022.
It was another big night for Tate J Hoffmeister, who rushed for 235 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries. J Hoffmeister has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last seven times he's played.
Needham has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Wellesley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-6.
Needham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wellesley also has no future games currently scheduled.
