Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask D.H. Conley). They managed a 49-44 victory over White Oak on Friday. D.H. Conley pushed the score to 46-24 by the end of the third, a deficit White Oak cut but never quite recovered from.
D.H. Conley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kalijah Booth, who rushed for 51 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Taft, who rushed for 76 yards and one score.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to D.H. Conley's defensive line and their three sacks. Titus Gleisinger was especially locked on to White Oak's QB and sacked him twice.
