Cesar Chavez's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lakeisha Robinson, who scored 16 points along with 9 rebounds and 7 steals. Robinson is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Alex Ballard, who scored 18 points along with 7 steals.
Cesar Chavez's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Fairfax, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Cesar Chavez will be playing at home against North at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fairfax, they will head out on the road to face off against Cibola at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cibola is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
