Whitehouse barely beat Texas the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Wildcats have won 12 matches by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Whitehouse pushed their record up to 23-6 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Texas, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Whitehouse will challenge rival Mt. Pleasant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 2.6, the Tigers 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Texas is set to face off against their familiar foe Nacogdoches at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
