Castleberry is 0-3 against Eagle Mountain since March of 2025 but things could change on Tuesday. The Lions are taking a road trip to take on the Knights at 6:00 p.m. Castleberry has given up an average of 8.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Janelly Ortiz was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.
Meanwhile, while Eagle Mountain put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Bridgeport. The Knights blew past the Bulls 19-0. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.
Karah Cardinal made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Cardinal was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Olivia Wilson and Zoe Hawthorne did most of the damage at the plate: Wilson went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles, while Hawthorne went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those five RBI gave Wilson a new career-high. Hannah Griggs was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
Eagle Mountain kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
The win made it two in a row for Eagle Mountain and bumps their season record up to 17-10-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Castleberry, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12-1.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Castleberry hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .329. However, it's not like Eagle Mountain struggles in that department as they've averaged .323. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Castleberry might still be hurting after the 18-1 defeat they got from Eagle Mountain when the teams last played back in March. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
