In what's become a running theme this season, the Rigby Trojans gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Thunder Ridge 79-36 on the road. Rigby's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Kambree Barber was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kinzley Larsen, who scored 16 points along with three steals.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Rigby, bringing their record for this year to 16-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for Thunder Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
Rigby will be playing at home against Highland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Highland is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Thunder Ridge, they will head out on the road to face off against Madison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Madison will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
