Several Yellow Jackets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Terrance Mckendall, who rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown. Jack Martin was another key contributor, rushing for 42 yards and a touchdown.
Scotland's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.8 points per game. As for Lee County, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Scotland will be playing at home against Richmond at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Richmond is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for Lee County, they will head out on the road to face off against Southern Lee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (Southern Lee is ranked 205th, while Lee County is ranked 180th).
